My Inner Demons is a narrative-driven walking simulator that takes you through Alaana's mind, where you confront the invisible connections of loneliness that bind her to her past.

Bringing vision to life:

Every night when you close your eyes and hope for a peaceful escape, your mind spirals. My Inner Demons was created to reflect that feeling, the overwhelming weight of loneliness and the invisible connections that bind us to our past. I wanted to create a world where players could feel the weights of these connections surrounding the protagonist, Alaana. The theme of invisible connections is about more than what's visible, it's about the unseen- memories, emotions that bind us in ways we can't always control.

I focused on a narrative-driven experience where gameplay is secondary to the raw emotion and atmosphere that surrounds it. With minimal controls, the player is left feeling powerless, wandering through a world that feels hauntingly familiar, yet just out of reach. The mechanic centers on exploration, uncovering more about why things are the way they are. Every step reveals more. 

Everything has been built from scratch, and this experience has been a journey of self-learning, experimenting with new techniques and pushing my creative boundaries to bring this vision to life. This project is purely experimental and has been an opportunity to explore unconventional approaches to storytelling.

Note: Due to an unexpected bug in the last moment, the "Main Menu" has been removed from this build.
